almost sunny

The sun was out for a split second but now its gone....it was just fooling us I guess...one of these days it will be out and we will wish it would be a little cloudy. are we really ever satisfied?   No I know we aren't!

Tracy and Jayne are getting ready for their annual spring break beach trip along with 4 kids and maybe a dog, not sure about the dog.  I am very happy that they get to do this together.  With Tracy living so far away sometimes I'm afraid they will get disconnected, but it looks like that isn't happening.

I am working on little Zoey Giles afghan/  It is such a pretty color, I am excited to see the finsihed product.  I like having projects to work on.  But I can't have to many at one time, only because I never know which one to work on.  I have the pillows and the afghan going....so I did 4 rows on the afghan and will cut the squares of fabric for the pillow.  I can stuff the other one and then embellish it.  don't you just love that word.  EMBELLISH  sounds so fascinating doesn't it.

Al and Alan went to the Rock game last night in Peoria.  It took place at the Bradley facility, the Renaissance Coliseum.  sounds very sophiscated for a basketball game.  I heard it was a very nice place.  I think they will go again tomorrow night...it is a nice time for them to spend together.  Wish the Leventry boys lived closer so they could know grandpa better!
