Droppin in

We finally heard from our German friends, Simon and Hanna.  The emails that I had sent went to Hanna;s Spam and she didn't know to check.  We finally got through to Simon on his work email.  He replied back today and hopefully I will hear from Hanna soon.  We really did enjoy their company, we learned a lot about Germany and would someday like to visit there.  of course we would go to Trier to visit our friends.

Made Chicken Soup today and the darn outlet for the crockpot was on the fritz, so we will just have to have it tomorrow.  It will be good no matter when we have it.  so yummy on a cold night and it is still cold here, kind of ready for some warm weather,  but I do remind myself that it is still March and it does March on doesn't it!

Still have plans for the pillows and really want to try one of those new patterns.  Bought the yarn to make Zoey Giles an afghan, it is the softest and creamiest yarn I have seen in a long time.  I think it is sponsered by Vanna White.  Hard to imagine her crocheting but why not? Went to Michael's and got some pretty flowers for the galoshes that I bought at Yankee Candle.  That store has the cutest accesories for their candles.  I found some after Christmas goodies for very cheap including a darling tablecloth for only 12.00. original cost was 60 and now they are holding one for me that is really cute for summer same price 12.00....

That's about it, getting close to bed time...up bright and early to work in Muskie tomorrow  i like working 8-5 and getting home earlier.    Getting XM for my car will be very nice, a little treat from my husband.
