we know have the best sound on 30th street.  it is really kind of cool to be able to adjust what we hear on the tv, and if we watch a dvd.  I would never have thought this was important but I guess it is.  I have one happy guy with 2 remotes in his hands...who knew?

Kind of ready for Friday to be over.  I like it when Al is home all day.  We rarely get anything accomplished but we have fun.  It is supposed to snow again this weekend.  Really, we've had enough already.  Someone said 18 inches, that can't possibly be right, 8 would be to many.  It is still really cold and crummy out, but I did go to the store and to Hobby Lobby.  I love that store.  They are very up to date on everything and all the shabby chic stuff is great.  I think I would like one of everything.  They have the cutest chairs.  all different colors in one chair.  I'm debating if I should get one for the dining room.  I could put it in the corner but still have my table on that wall.  oh such decisions...they have a tray table, a little taller, that looks like a painters palate, I like that a lot too.  and who knew all the things you could do with door knobs,  and now they have little boxes that look like a scrabble piece.  Scrabble being my favorite boardgame and I had to buy the one with the M on it.  of course it has the point value 3 on it also.  I'm thinking maybe I should spell the whole last name, but that might be overkill, I kind of like just having the M.  and I really want a green mesh wreath for St Patrick;s day.  they have the Kelly green and then they have the limier green with white stripes.  all on sale of course.  I wish I had someone to make it for me.  Everyone says how easy they are, but I don't think they really are.  Oh well I'm not Irish but it would be fun for the front door.

Made tilapia and brussel sprouts tonight.  I've never had a brussel sprout or fixed one, but I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were.  The tilapia is such a good fish because it doesn't really taste like fish!  I used panko bread crumbs, cilantro, lemon, garlic and olive oil for the fish.  and then baked it along with the brussel sprouts.  Kind of fun to try these new foods.

off to read...
