time flies

It seems like just yesterday that Kate was a tiny infant enthralling all of us with anything that she did.  From smiles to poopy pants we all thought she did it the best..This past weekend she went to her last prom at Hoover High School and once again enchanted all of us....her dress, her hair, her smile...beautiful!  and then on Sunday she turned 18, an adult officially, but still my sweet baby Kate.

I could go on and on about that but on the other end of the spectrum I am watching as my mom endures to live one more day.  She is quite the fighter as she struggles with the effects of smoking for years and years.  Sometimes I just want to say I asked you to stop but you just shook your head, the pleasure I guess if that is what you call it was just to great.  She is fighter tho and keeps getting stronger every day.

It is cold and gloomy outside, just like a typical March day but it is April.  Mother Nature stop all this foolishness and get the right month!!  The wind sounds like winter for heavens sake, give us a gentle breeze..

Working through Thursday and then off for the weekend.  Annabelles play, Karis shower and maybe a little relaxation!
