a great day

This has been a really good day.  I woke up thinking of all the things I had to complete and actually felt happy about it.  I finished an apron that i started last summer, and I am almost finished with the baby afghan for Jenny and baby Brielle.  I went overboard on the border and now have to buy another skein of pink poodle yarn.  Oh well....I also locted the pattern for the jacket that Tracy likes and am still looking for a pattern lke the scarf that Jayne requested.

Also, i am excited to make dinner tonight, that is something rare around here.  We are having Taco meatloaf.....I think that sounds absolutely delish  (in the words of Rick Leventry)   and I walked to the library, took back 2 books and brought home 3.  I was so hot when I got home I had to practically undress.  I was sweating for an hour.  Now what else,  I brought the halloween decorations up and got most of them put in their proper little places....there are some things that I think are going to the Salvation Army...I run out of room...but I do love my Annalee's and the crazy paper machie "scary People" that I have and of course the tall tower of pumpkins that light up, Kate loved those.  I have more fall wreaths than the whole neighborhood, but I will find room for them.

I bought a large book of scrapbooking paper yesterday and can't wait to use it.  I love all of the colors(of course I do) and have seen some good ideas on Pinterest.  That is one fascinating place to visit.  It is almost overwhelming....but there are some great ideas on there. 

and I have been reading!  on the ipad and the real book the kind that you get at the library.  I don't want to get away from real books, i like how they feel, and smell.  I did finish Promise Me by Nancy Goodman Brinker, Suzy Komens sister.  It was really very good.  They are from Peoria, the land of milk and honey in Nancy's words.  and then I read a  couple more.  Now I have Killing Lincoln download on my phone, Ipad and Al's new tablet.  So now we can read it at the same time and talk about it.  It could be rather expensive to download all the books we read.

So I guess that sums up my day.  It is a beautiful fall day and I'm loving it!
