We have sure had our share of thunder storms and rain. It is cloudy agaom today but I did hear that the weekend is supposed to be nice. I sure hope so...a friend is getting married Saturday....there are graduation parties and I have 3 days off.....Lots of yard work and would really like to get the sun room in order. it is so pretty when it is done. Jayne couldn't get into her house until early this morning. The power in her area was off and her garage door wouldn't open. Linus and Lucy were home alone until 6 this morning but she said they did fine.
Almost time for schools to be out. The grandkids have lots planned for the summer, and of course we have our PCB trip coming up, I am so happy that we get to do that every year and that as a family we can stand each other for the week in the confines of one resort. I know that we are blessed with 4 great children, 2 great sons in law, 7 great grandchildren, but sometimes personalities clash, but really for the most part it is a wonderful week!!
I had the priviledge of attending the funeral of Pat King yesterday. I know his son Moochie better than I knew him, but I came away with the sense that he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. It was a very gentle ceremony, if that is how one can be. Not dramatic, or made to be emotional , just genuine sadness....his family will miss him very much
Work is still business as usual, things changing on a daily basis, unhappy employees, unhappy customers, unhappy mgrs.....I'm not quite sure where this is headed, if anywhere, just a crazy time but thankful for a job...sometimes I would really just like to walk away from it, be a normal person, but then common sense takes over and I talk myself right out of that!
